Our mission is to provide free, comprehensive financial education designed specifically for Canadians aged 60 and above, helping them navigate the complex world of modern banking, pension management, and fraud prevention.
Why We Started
Founded in Fredericton, New Brunswick, ISilverCents was born from a simple observation: traditional financial education often overlooks the unique needs and challenges faced by older adults. With the rapid digitization of banking services and the increasing sophistication of financial scams targeting seniors, we recognized the urgent need for specialized, accessible education.
Our Approach
We understand that learning preferences change with age, which is why we've designed our platform with seniors in mind. Our courses feature large, easy-to-read text, voice guidance options, and simplified navigation. We provide phone support because we know that sometimes a human voice is more reassuring than any digital interface.
